Strictly Necessary Cookies Only

AIVA does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. The only cookies we set ourselves are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your account secure. We still show a brief cookie notice on your first visit — our choice, not a legal requirement given the above — so you can confirm that and see exactly what's listed below. Your choice is remembered; you can change it anytime from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer or in Settings. If that ever changes (e.g. we add analytics), we'll update this policy first and gate any non-essential cookie behind your consent.

Cookies We Set

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Expires after 7 days of inactivity, or sooner if you sign out.
• Two-factor challenge cookie — a short-lived (10 minute) cookie used only while completing a 2FA sign-in step, if you've enabled two-factor authentication.

Both are essential — the service cannot function without them — and neither is used for tracking or advertising.

Local/Session Storage

We also use your browser's local/session storage (not cookies) to remember interface preferences on your device — none of it is sent to us or shared with third parties:

• Sidebar and project-view layout preferences.
• Canvas grid scale and measurement-unit preference, per project.
• In-progress room-scan capture state, cleared once the scan completes.

Third-Party Cookies

We don't embed third-party trackers. Two things on the site talk to a third party directly, each under its own cookie policy, not ours: signing in with Google, and the Cal.com booking widget behind "Book a demo" (only loaded if you open it).
